Edward Bean is a composer, musician, and arts consultant originally from Toledo, Ohio.  He is currently studying for his BM Composition at New York University.  As a classically trained pianist for over ten years, he added exceptional insight and nuance to his art-rock band, Gazebo.  He has held positions including a hired musician, accompanist, music director, and stage director.  Edward has strong backgrounds in theatre, acting, and creative writing.

Edward has won awards for his writing, directing, and composing.  Most notably he has written a four-movement piece for wind ensemble and percussion as well as co-writing the full length musical Ottville.  He has studied music theory, composition, jazz trombone, and improvisational skills.  He enjoys utilizing his classical training to pioneer more popular forms of music and is recognized for melding genres. 

He also enjoys playing with his cat, drinking coffee, and eating ice cream.
